WHY SETTLE
FOR MIDS?

You're buying $50 carts at the dispensary. You have no idea what went into them. You have no control over the flavor, the concentrate, or the ratio.

Terps USA Liquidizer converts your concentrate — wax, shatter, rosin, distillate — into smooth, great-tasting vape oil in under 10 minutes. Your material - Your flavor - Your ratio - And the math is real.

THE DISPENSARY
IS CHARGING YOU TOO MUCH

A half-gram cart at a dispensary runs $35–$50. You have no idea what concentrate went into it, what liquidizer they used, or what ratio they hit. You're paying premium prices for someone else's decisions about your experience.

Here's what it actually costs to make your own — at three real-world scenarios.

Scenario Your Concentrate What You Make Dispensary Value
Budget 1g wax — $10–$15
+ ~$2 liquidizer
2 × half-gram carts $50–$70
Mid-Tier 1g quality wax — $30–$40
+ ~$3 liquidizer
2 × half-gram carts $70–$100
Premium 1g live rosin — $60–$80
+ ~$3 liquidizer
2 × half-gram carts $100–$150

* Dispensary value based on typical retail pricing for half-gram carts in legal markets. Your savings depend on your local market. Liquidizer cost calculated at retail bottle pricing per gram processed.

The only variable that changes is your concentrate quality.

Better input. Better output. That's the whole system. Terps USA Liquidizer doesn't add anything you don't want — it just converts what you already have into a form you can actually use. Your material - Your result

HOW TO MAKE
VAPE CARTS

Five steps. Under 10 minutes. What you need: Terps USA Liquidizer · Your concentrate · Empty cartridges · A syringe · A small glass container.

1
Warm Your Concentrate

Place your concentrate in a small glass container. Warm gently — hot water bath or microwave in 5-second intervals — until it's soft and workable. You want pliable, not melted. Do not overheat.

Goal: soft and workable · Method: hot water bath or 5-sec microwave bursts
2
Add Liquidizer — Start at 1:1

Add Terps USA Liquidizer at a 1:1 ratio — equal parts liquidizer to concentrate by volume. This is your starting point for most concentrates. Choose flavored Liquidizer for a strain-specific or fruit profile, or Original (flavorless) to keep the pure character of your concentrate.

Starting ratio: 1:1 · Adjust after testing · Thicker = less liquidizer · Thinner = more
3
Mix Until Completely Uniform

Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth, consistent in color, and shows no separation. If it needs help incorporating, apply brief gentle heat and continue stirring. Don't fill carts until it's fully uniform — streaks mean inconsistent hits.

Check: smooth · consistent color · zero separation visible
4
Fill Your Cartridges

Draw the mixed oil into a syringe. Fill from the bottom up, slowly — rushing creates air bubbles. A standard half-gram cart holds approximately 0.5ml. Cap immediately after filling. Don't overfill.

Fill slow · bottom up · cap immediately · 0.5ml per half-gram cart
5
Let It Settle — 15 to 30 Minutes

Stand the filled cartridges upright for 15–30 minutes before the first draw. This lets the oil fully saturate the wick. The first draw may feel slightly dry — that's normal. Give it one more minute and draw again.

Upright · 15–30 minutes · first draw may be light — that's normal

YOUR CONCENTRATE
YOUR STARTING RATIO

Different concentrates have different consistencies. Here's your quick reference for where to start — adjust from there based on your preferred viscosity.

Concentrate Type Starting Ratio Notes
Wax / Crumble 1:1 Standard starting point. Mix thoroughly — crumble can take a minute to fully incorporate.
Shatter 1:1 to 1.2:1 Harder material may need slightly more liquidizer. Break into small pieces before warming.
Budder / Badder 0.8:1 to 1:1 Softer consistency — start conservative. Easy to over-thin.
Live Resin 0.8:1 Already contains terpenes. Start light to preserve the natural profile.
Rosin 1:1 Slightly tacky. Warms easily. Mix while warm for best results.
Distillate 0.5:1 or less Already liquid at temperature. Often needs minimal liquidizer. Flavor Burst can really brighten this up.

ON PG AND PEG
WE READ THE ACTUAL SCIENCE

During the 2019 EVALI outbreak, propylene glycol (PG) and polyethylene glycol (PEG) were swept up in a panic that was caused by something else entirely. The CDC's investigation identified Vitamin E acetate as the primary culprit — found in the lung fluid of patients, linked to illicit THC cartridges, and completely distinct from standard vaping ingredients.

PG and VG were explicitly cleared by the CDC. Standard vaping ingredients were not involved in EVALI. The regulatory responses that followed — including Colorado legislation — were enacted during maximum public fear, driven by a conflation of causes that the underlying science does not support.

Terps USA reviewed the documents for what they actually said. We evaluated 18 years of pharmaceutical PG inhalation use, a 13-week rat inhalation study, a 3.5-year human observational study, and the FDA's GRAS classification. We stood by PG because the data supported it — not because it was the easy choice.

Our full scientific review dismantles the 2017 Arizona study on methodology and author credentials, presents the real-world temperature data that invalidates its findings, and documents the CDC's specific clearance of PG in the EVALI investigation. 14 peer-reviewed citations.

The brands that removed PG during the panic made a business decision based on fear. We made a decision based on science. The whitepaper is the record of that decision and the evidence behind it.

FAQ

Start with 1:1 — equal parts Terps USA Liquidizer to concentrate by volume. This is the recommended starting point for most concentrates. Adjust from there: more liquidizer for thinner oil, less for thicker. Always mix thoroughly and test viscosity before filling cartridges. Softer concentrates like budder and live resin may need less. Harder materials like shatter may benefit from slightly more. See the ratio reference table above for concentrate-specific starting points.
Yes. Terps USA Liquidizer works with everything — wax, shatter, rosin, live resin, crumble, budder, and distillate. Start at 1:1 for most concentrates. Distillate is already liquid so needs less — start at 0.5:1 and adjust. Flavor Burst drops can be added to any batch to build a custom profile on top of your concentrate.
At retail concentrate prices, a gram of quality wax runs $30–$40. Using Terps USA Liquidizer at 1:1, that gram becomes approximately 2ml of vape oil — two full half-gram cartridges. Two half-gram carts at dispensary pricing retail for $70–$100. Your total cost including liquidizer: roughly $35–$45. Budget concentrate at $10–$15 per gram still produces carts worth $50–$70 at retail. The math works at every price point.
Yes. Propylene glycol (PG) has been used safely in pharmaceutical inhalers and nebulizers since the 1950s. The FDA classifies it as Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS). The 2019 EVALI outbreak was definitively linked by the CDC to Vitamin E acetate — not PG. PG was explicitly cleared of involvement. Terps USA reviewed the underlying science rather than responding to the panic and stood by PG because the evidence supports it. Read the full safety analysis →
Original (flavorless) gives you a neutral base — your concentrate's natural character comes through, and you can layer custom profiles using Flavor Burst drops. Flavored Liquidizers have Terps USA's botanical terpene profiles built in — Pineapple Express, Banana OG, Strawberry Cough, and others. Use flavored when you want a ready-made profile. Use Original when you want full control over what your cart tastes like. See all custom formula options →
