Supplies & Equipment
- Terps USA Terpene Spray — choose your strain profile (see Step 1)
- Spray Master Atomizer — for precise, even application at any batch size
- Dried cannabis flower — any strain, any quantity
- Airtight glass jar — for curing and integrating the terpenes after application
Step-by-Step: How to Apply Terpene Spray
Choose Your Terpene Spray Profile
Select your Terps USA Terpene Spray strain. For classic cannabis aroma: OG Kush or Sour Diesel. For sweet and fruity: Gelato, Strawberry, or Pineapple. For gassy: GSC or Chemdawg. Not sure which profile fits your flower? Ask Terpski — tell him your base strain and target vibe and he will match you instantly.
Start with a 3–5g Test Batch
Place a small amount of dried flower in a clean bowl or tray. Starting with a test batch lets you dial in your spray distance and pass count before committing to a full run. This is especially important when trying a new strain profile for the first time.
Load and Set Up the Spray Master
Fill the Spray Master reservoir with your chosen Terps USA Terpene Spray — leave a small air gap at the top for consistent pressure. Select the fine nozzle for delicate top-notes or the standard nozzle for general application. Hold the Spray Master 6–8 inches from the flower surface.
Apply Light, Even Passes
Use short, overlapping passes across the flower surface. Avoid holding the nozzle in one spot — keep moving. Two light passes beat one heavy pass for flavor control and even coverage. Target approximately 0.5ml per 10–20 grams of flower.
Seal and Cure in a Glass Jar
Transfer the sprayed flower into an airtight glass jar immediately after application. Seal the jar and allow 15–20 minutes minimum for terpene integration. For a fully developed, layered profile, cure for 24–48 hours. Open the jar briefly once or twice during curing to release excess moisture and allow the terpenes to settle evenly.
Evaluate and Adjust
Open the jar and evaluate the aroma and flavor. If you want a stronger profile, apply a second light coat and cure for an additional 15–20 minutes. Document everything — nozzle setting, distance, pass count, batch size, and humidity — so you can reproduce winning results every time.
Terpski Tip: Tell Terpski your target aroma (classic, fruity, gassy, or sweet) and your batch size — he will recommend the exact strain profile and calculate your precise spray ratio in seconds.
Spray Master Setup & Maintenance
Fill the Reservoir
Unscrew the Spray Master cup and fill with your Terps USA Terpene Spray. Leave a small air gap at the top — this maintains consistent air pressure for an even spray pattern throughout the session.
Select Your Nozzle
Use the fine nozzle for premium flower where you want delicate, precise top-note application. Use the standard nozzle for larger batches and general application where full, even coverage is the priority.
Test Your Spray Pattern First
Before spraying your batch, test the pattern on a piece of paper at 6–8 inches. You should see a fine, even mist — not a stream or a splatter. Adjust your distance and pressure until the pattern is consistent.
Clean After Every Session
After each use, run a small amount of isopropyl alcohol through the nozzle and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth. Store the Spray Master capped in a cool, dry place. Regular cleaning maintains nozzle performance and extends the life of the unit.
Pro Tips for Consistent Results
- Log every batch: nozzle setting, distance, pass count, batch size, and ambient humidity.
- Commercial scale: the Spray Master handles multi-pound runs — contact Terps USA for volume pricing.
- Storage: keep terpene spray sealed with the airtight cap between sessions — do not leave the spray top attached to the bottle during storage.
- Humidity matters: in high-humidity environments, reduce your pass count slightly to avoid over-saturation.
