Some flower smells like fresh-cut hay and needs a complete aromatic overhaul. Other batches just need a subtle boost to bring out their natural character. Because of this, there is no single "correct" amount of terpene spray to use — the right amount depends on your specific product, your personal preference, and how bold or subtle you want the final profile to be.
This guide provides baseline formulas to help you start blending like a professional. Use these recipes as a starting point, test them on small batches, and adjust the ratios until you find the profile that works best for your specific flower. Every recipe here is designed to be mixed directly in your Spray Master cup alongside your chosen 5ml Terpene Spray.
The Golden Rules of Blending
Strain Profiles
3 drops
Fruity Cereal, Gelato, GSC, Lil Round Candiez, OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Strawberry Cough, Pineapple Express, Strawnana, Strawnana Cough. Complex, pungent, powerful — easily twice as strong as fruit flavors.
Flavor Burst
7 drops
Banana, Blueberry, Grape, Mango, Pineapple, Strawberry. Bright and sweet but lighter than strains — you need more drops to match the same intensity.
Mixing Strains + Flavors? Use 2 drops of Strain Flavor Burst + 5 drops of Fruit Flavor Burst per 5ml spray session. This keeps the heavy strain base notes from overpowering the bright fruit top notes. All recipes below are based on a 5ml spray / ~1 oz of flower session. Scale up or down proportionally for larger or smaller batches.

Pro Tips for Blending

Always Start Light
You can always add more terpenes, but you cannot take them away. If you are unsure about a batch, start with half the recommended drops and work your way up from there.

Let It Rest
After spraying, seal your flower in an airtight glass jar for at least 15–20 minutes. For the most accurate representation of your custom blend, let it cure for 24–48 hours before evaluating the final aroma.

Use the Spray Master
Standard spray tops cannot atomize custom blends effectively. The Terps USA Spray Master is required to properly mix and distribute these recipes evenly across your flower for consistent results every session.

Keep Notes
Write down your ratios. When you find the perfect blend for a specific batch of flower, you will want to be able to recreate it. Small adjustments — even a single drop — can make a meaningful difference.
